APPLICATION FORMAT
Trail Project Description: What work is to be done? What equipment will be purchased? What will the project accomplish? Where will the project be located? Who will oversee the project and be accountable for its completion? Who will be financially accountable for the funds received from GRTC? Who is responsible for future maintenance?
Organization Description: What is your organization’s purpose? What geographic area do you operate in? How do you achieve your goals? How are you funded? How long has your organization existed? What is the legal form of your organization (municipality, private, 501-(c) (3), etc.? To whom are you accountable? Where are your members drawn from, and how many are there? Do you draw financial support from other organizations or municipalities? Please attach a copy of your organization’s minutes and financial report from your most recent regular membership or board meeting. Just include the relevant pages; please don’t attach your annual report or master plan.
Trail Projects: What have you accomplished in the last year, the last two years? What projects are you starting now? Please be brief but complete.
Use of GRTC grant funds: How will this grant money be used? Attach a copy of the project budget. List planned expenditures for material, labor, equipment rentals, etc. Will the project still go forward if your GRTC grant application is unsuccessful?
